Help
Everything you need to know, in plain language.
Music 24 hours a day
Log in to My station, drag your music into the box and switch 24/7 on. Everything you upload keeps playing in random order.
Broadcast live
In My station you choose your program. You then see exactly what to fill in: server, port and password. As soon as you go live, your broadcast takes over from the music. When you stop, the music carries on by itself.
Old or new SHOUTcast?
Both work. Newer software uses the setting "Icecast" or "SHOUTcast 2". Older software that only knows "SHOUTcast 1" works too; in that case you enter username:password as the password. Your listeners won't notice any difference.
The player and song requests
Every station has a listen page and a player to embed on your own website. They work on iPhone and Android, even with the screen locked. Turn on song requests and listeners can request songs with their name and a greeting; you see them on the DJ screen.
Monitoring
Every minute we check whether your station is running and how many people are listening. If it drops out, we restart it automatically. If it's been silent for ten minutes, we step in. If you reach 90% of your listeners or data traffic, you get an email explaining what you can do.
Music rights
In My station you can download the monthly play log with artist, title, ISRC and number of listeners, plus your listening hours. You can use it to report what you've played.
