What is 24/7 music?
You upload music and your station plays it day and night in random order. When you go live, your broadcast takes over; when you stop, the music carries on by itself.
Does my old broadcasting software work?
Yes. New software (BUTT, Mixxx, RadioDJ, SAM Broadcaster) and older software that only knows SHOUTcast 1 both work. In My station you choose your program and see exactly what to fill in.
Does the player work on my phone?
Yes, on iPhone too. The music keeps playing when your phone is locked, you see the title and cover on the lock screen, and after switching from Wi-Fi to 4G the player reconnects by itself.
What happens when my data traffic runs out?
At 90% you get an email. At 100% your station does what you chose: stop until the new month, or keep going for €2.00 per extra TB. More than 3 TB extra per month isn't possible, so you'll never get a big bill.
What if my station goes down or goes silent?
Our monitoring checks every minute. If your station isn't running, we restart it automatically. If there are ten minutes of silence, we disconnect a silent live connection or skip a silent track. You always get an email.
Can listeners request songs?
Yes. Turn on song requests and listeners can search your music through the player. They can add their name, who it's for and a message; you see everything on the DJ screen.
What about music rights?
You arrange those yourself with the music rights organisation in your country. Every month we give you a play log with listening hours, so you know what to report.
Can I move to a bigger plan later?
Yes, in My station. You only pay the difference up to the end of your paid period; then your limits go up straight away.
How do I cancel?
With one click in My station. Your station stays on until the end of the period you've already paid for. No questions, no notice period.
